How to Clean Your La Reina Standing Mat

To clean your mat, use a sponge or soft cloth with one of the recommended cleaning solutions. After cleaning, be sure to dry the mat completely.

To keep your mat looking like new:

  • Clean your mat regularly
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning solutions such as window cleaner, floor cleaner, acetone, or alcohol
  • Do not use power vacuums, as they may damage the surface and edges

Spill Care

For small spills, wipe them up immediately with a dry cloth.

(The longer a spill sits, the more likely it is to stain.)

Most everyday spills can be cleaned using the instructions above. However, extreme dirt, paint spills, or heavily pigmented food and beverages may stain the fabric layer of your mat and should be avoided whenever possible.

How to Best Use Your Standing Mat

How to Use Your La Reina Standing Mat

1. Placement

Use your La Reina Standing Mat in the spaces where you stand most — such as:

  • In front of the kitchen sink
  • By the stove
  • In the laundry room
  • At your standing desk

While it may be tempting to place a mat in every room, standing mats should not be used in bathrooms, as they may become slippery when wet.

2. Keeping Your Mat in Place

To help keep your mat secure, we recommend anchoring it against a wall, cabinet, or kitchen island.

If your mat shifts on slick flooring, you can apply additional rug gripper stickers to the back (one on each corner). These are available online or at most home goods stores.
